I've never knit from a chart before but plan to try your pattern. I just made a scarf using Noro and loved the surprise of the yarn colors as they appeared as I knitted.I'll let you know how it turns out

That's a really nice looking scarf but I can't do charts...have too much trouble with eyesight.

Hi tpcougar. I appreciate your comment.
I will post a written pattern soon. Right now I am having major computer troubles (see "Love & Hand Knit Socks") so fixing that comes first. Drop me an email if you would like me to let you know when I have posted the written version. My email is fingersfancy at inbox dot com.

Two years later and you still haven't posted a written pattern for this scarf? I'd really love to make this, but I am another person who can't work from a chart because of eyesight.

Sorry Rene. Life has intervened. I will post a written pattern as soon as possible. But this may not be as soon as you would like. If you know someone who would translate the graph for you please share it with me and I will happily publish the result (and give credit of course).

I have been looking for a pattern for a scarf that i want to knit for a friend, this one is not too fussy or fancy and looks promising. I plan to knit it in a purple cotton thread and use larger needles to create a more open/looser effect. I choose cotton & looser effect because I live in a climate that has a very mild winter and don't need wool or thick scarf. Thank you for the pattern.. Roxy
